With a red carpet launch in August 2005 that saw Boris Becker turn up to witness the store's opening, Burger Zürich set the tone for an upmarket shopping experience that appeals mainly to moneyed thirty-somethings in search of style and the latest fashions.

As a shop-in-shop concept it works well, with a range of fashions to suit mid-to-late teens, plus women aged 20 and upwards. Deservedly a phenomena in its home country, Freitag bags are ingeniously made using recycled tarpaulin material from trucks. Consequently, no two bags are ever the same, with a range that stretches two over 240 different types. Arguably the best place to buy in Zurich is at Fidelio (address given above) which lies close to the famous club/bar/restaurant Kaufleuten.
