"Probably one of the most well-known Vienna hotels, namely for the Sacher Café -
home of the
world-renowned Sacher Torte. Having celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2001, all 108 rooms and suites have been completely renovated and improved in the course of the last few years, and have been equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
Of course, modern amenities aside, it has managed to retain many original antique furnishings
dating back to the
19th century, thus making it a truly sumptuous and romantic place to stay. The Hotel has two excellent restaurants, the "Anna Sacher" and the "Rote
Bar" (which offers live music in the evening). Although, of course, you can
also enjoy a taste of traditional Viennese
café life in the marvellous surroundings of the " Sacher Café".
At Hotel Sacher, no two rooms are identical. Every room and every suite has been decorated personally by the Managing Director Ms Elisabeth Gürtler with great love of detail.
Special attention has been given to preserving the Hotel’s historical character, while at the same time giving the rooms and the suites a fresher appearance.
All rooms are decorated with valuable historical paintings and antiquities rendering Hotel Sacher Vienna simply incomparable.
Superior Rooms - With a size of 30 m2, Superior Rooms offer all the amenities expected of a 5* Deluxe Hotel.
Furnished with antiquities and decorated with original oil paintings, they also feature
light, friendly bathrooms, individually adjustable air conditioning system, sound-proof windows, three telephones with computer connections,
mini-bar, safe, cable-TV, radio, bathrobes, and hairdryer.
Deluxe Rooms - In the Deluxe category, guests find luxurious rooms of 40
m2 in size. Furnished and equipped in historical style, each are available in a wide-range
of colour schemes. In fact, guests are even asked to name their favourite colour (as,
chances are, the property will have a room to match).
One/Two Bedroom Suites - The most luxurious way of residing at Hotel Sacher! One of the 5
one-bedroom suites can be converted into spacious flats with one or two bedrooms and a drawing room by joining additional drawing rooms/bedrooms. Bathrooms are refined by delicate marble in line with the furniture in the
suites. Ranging from 80m2 to 110m2 in size, suites also offer unique views of the State
Opera"
