From a distance, the neatly presented, colourful displays at Flaschengeist merely hint at
the exquisite (liquid) gifts for sale here. In a nutshell, this flagship store in the QVB
specialises in fine liqueurs, fortified wines, oils and vinegars, with its most popular
lines comprising of after dinner drinks such as Cognac and Walnut liqueur and Chocolate
Port liqueur. As well as a range of sizes, you can also choose a decorative bottle to
suit, while for those after a truly unique gift try Whisky Gold - a whisky based liqueur
containing real 24 carat gold flakes!

Established in 1995 by a family of Aboriginal artists, Gavala stocks a wide-range of
paintings and weavings, along with clothes, boomerangs, didjeridus, masks, statues and
jewellery. As well as helping to preserve the culture and heritage of aboriginal peoples,
Gavala also ensure that royalties and commissions are paid directly to artists (thereby
helping to further promote their work along with the communities from where they
originate). Enjoying a prominent location at Harbourside Centre, the centre is reached by
taking the monorail to Harbourside, or on foot from Town Hall station.
