Recycling clothes the Blue Spinach way involves owners first bringing their unwanted
designer clothes, shoes and accessories to the store. Here, in consultation with the
company, a sale price is agreed of which 50% of which is then kept by the seller when
sold. The upshot is that,
if you're in the hunt for top fashions from the likes of Prada, L. Vuitton, Versace, Gucci
and Hugo Boss, then items can be picked up for a fraction of their original cost.

As a recent opening at the downtown Strand Arcade, Bowie Wong's raw and quirky clothing
ranges are influenced, in part, by his upbringing. As the son of a Chinese opera singer,
young Bowie was fascinated by the elaborate stage costumes that were part and parcel of
many performances (which lead him to eventually study a degree in pure art and design).
Having appeared in the likes of Vogue and Time Magazine, Bowie started his own label back
in 1999, while the opening of this store (for both men and women) took place in early
2007.
