A fine example of a bookshop-cum-coffee shop which has been part of the Prague literary scene for
nearly a decade (though only at its present location for two years). Has probably the best range of
English-language titles (both new and second-hand) in town, but you may also be tempted by Czech
and other foreign publications. The store still acts as a popular meeting place for ex-pats,
especially as you can get a good cup of coffee and bite to eat, settle down to consider your
purchases or simply unwind. What's more, Internet access offers the chance to check your e-mails,
while laptop owners can surf for free (paying just a returnable deposit for cables). Excellent!

Largest Prague branch of a national bookstore chain. Although catering primarily for the domestic
market, there are still bargains to be had for foreign visitors (including a top-floor
