Verona House Hotel Prague, Description:

Located in the picturesque and historical heart of Prague, the Verona House also enjoys an enviable location just steps from the Charles Bridge.

Built in a baroque style between 1707 and 1726, an attic floor was added in the 19th Century, while the house also underwent a series of architectural changes in the first-half of the 20th century. Its beautiful facade, embellished with an early classicist frontispiece (and an oval portrait of the Virgin Mary) now makes for the entrance to this recently reconstructed property (completed 2005).

Offering visitors to Prague comfortable accommodation by way of 13 double rooms and 1 apartment, each come equipped with a bath-tub or shower, colour TV with satellite channels, direct-dial telephone, mini-bar and safe. It's also worth noting that ground-floor rooms (in the front annex) preserve their high baroque arches, while those on the first-floor have flat ceilings. Top-floor rooms also offer an unforgettably romantic view across the rooftops of Malá Strana.

Most importantly, all of Prague's major sights are easily accessible on foot or by tram. The nearest underground station is "Malostranská" (line A), some 200 meters from the hotel.
