This rather quirky communist era building was constructed as a retreat for party officials and visiting dignitaries. Nowadays, following the Czech Republic's move to parliamentary democracy, the hotel, which is set among 20 acres of parkland in a pleasantly leafy area of Prague, is now available as luxury tourist accommodation.

Although some distance away from the centre of town, Dejvická metro station is only 10 minutes walk away from the Praha. And, as well as large, generously equipped guest rooms, the hotel offers a wide-range of additional facilities including the first-class Les Continents' restaurant, bowling alley and spa treatments.
