The Palace occupies an Art Nouveau building that was originally completed in 1906. For a time during the 1980s, the hotel was closed but, following major interior renovation, the Palace re-opened to guests in 1989.

Attracting a number of high-profile patrons who enjoy the luxurious surroundings and service that the Palace is renowned for, guest rooms are beautifully decorated with period furniture and fittings.
