Our London Map page now lets users pinpoint the exact location of popular sights using Google technology (to provide both street and satellite map views of London).

Covering a total of 52 major sights across the capital, each is selected simply by choosing from drop-down menu, which then provides a visual representation of the address and surrounding area.

A Guide to Sightseeing by Tube

By far the easiest way to get around central London is by Underground (or Tube). Our own exclusive map links places of interest, shops, restaurants, theatres and cinemas to nearby stations, making it easy to plan your sightseeing and evenings out. What's more, there's also a link to London Transport's official website with a map showing the network in full.

Revised at the beginning of the year, we explore London's most central neighbourhoods.

Not only do we explain the layout and history of each one, but also give a summary of the sights to look out for when visiting.

Further Afield in London

In this section we cover day trips to out of town attractions such as Windsor Castle and LEGOLAND along with outer-London boroughs such as Richmond Upon Thames and Merton.

Guided Walks around the City

Although by population, London is one of the largest cities in the world, it's still possible to explore many of the city's centrally located sights on foot. 

Here, we take you on three in-depth guided walks which include maps of each route. Walk one, which is ideal for a first day's sightseeing takes us around Westminster and St. James's Park. The longer walk two sees us explore the South Bank, Bankside and Tower Bridge, while walk three includes Tower Hill and The City.
