Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel, Description/Room Details:
Comprising of over 3,500 luxurious rooms and suites, the Flamingo Las Vegas is a sensible choice for leisure and business travellers alike, with a range of guestrooms to suit all tastes and budgets.
Deluxe Bedrooms - which are newly renovated, are styled and furnished in relaxing contemporary colours. Offering 350 square-feet of usable space, each come equipped with desk, comfy chair and entertainment center (with TV and high-speed Internet access port). Additional in-room amenities include a hair dryer, safe, iron and ironing board, while bedding options consist of 1 King or 2 Queen Beds.
Executive Rooms - offer all the comforts of Deluxe Bedrooms, with the added comfort of a coffee maker, condiments, assorted teas and complimentary USA Today (delivered daily). Luxuriously furnished, with understated contemporary décor, they come equipped with a King Sized bed.
Mini-Suites - are ideal for guests who require additional room, with an average floor plan of 525 square feet. As well as incorporating the features of Deluxe Bedrooms at the Flamingo (see above) they come equipped with 1 King bed. And, subject to availability a wet bar and big screen TV are also available.
Luxury Suites - designed to pamper those who demand perfection, the Flamingo's luxury suites boast sizes of up to 1,700 square-feet and offer separate sleeping and relaxation areas. Available with 1 or 2 bedrooms, additional in-room amenities include (subject to availability) a wet bar, big screen TV, walk-in shower, powder room and spa tub.
Of course, the main draw here is the 77,000 square-foot Caribbean-style casino. From casino classics to the advanced Race & Sports book, guests can experience the excitement of the gaming tables and the thrills of over 2,000 state-of-the-art slot machines. Table games include craps, blackjack, mini-baccarat, Carribean stud poker, let it ride poker, roulette and three card poker, while slots include favourites such as Blazing 7's and Wheel of Fortune, along with video versions such as Hexbreaker, Kenny Roger's-The Gambler and Munsters.
Outside, you'll find cool blue lagoons and the famous pink flamingo fountains, while adjacent is the Paradise Garden Buffet, with a mouthwatering selection of shrimp on ice, Alaskan crab legs and seafood salads. What's more, alongside is a carving station serving prime rib of beef, broiled pork chop cutlets with onions, honey-glazed duck and baked Atlantic Salmon.
Fine dining comes courtesy of four restaurants namely "Hamada of Japan", where you can enjoy the ambience and delicious flavours of an authentic Japanese meal; "Ventuno" which offers modern Italian dishes in a warm, inviting setting; "Steakhouse 46" which, as well as steaks and prime ribs, serves seafood and "Pink Ginger" with a variety of Asian/fusion contemporary style dishes.
For entertainment, the Flamingo's stage has witnessed the likes of Jerry Lewis, Nat "King" Cole, Dean Martin and Richard Pryor, while currently soul legend Gladys Knight, the comedian George Wallace and improvisational comedy courtesy of The Second City grace the stage here...more overview information >>
