Tourist Information for Vienna

Before departing, it may be worthwhile contacting your nearest Austrian National Tourist Office (see below) for information to help organise your trip e.g. a list of reputable tour operators in your home country which specialize in holidays to Austria. Alternatively, visit the excellent www.austria-tourism.at website, which includes a ‘Live Chat’ facility to help with hotel bookings and other matters (just like our own site).

Once you arrive, city centre maps can be picked up from the Vienna Tourist Board at either Albertinaplatz 1 (open daily from 9am to 7pm) or in the arrivals hall at Vienna Airport. Along with leaflets and information packs on Vienna sightseeing, staff are on hand to answer any queries about your stay. Also be sure to check out their excellent website at: http://info.wien.at.
