This house, which was owned by Johann von Pasqualati, also served as the occasional guest residence of Beethoven. Having spent a number of years here, Beethoven obviously found its atmosphere conducive to inspirational ideas, as he composed not only the 4th, 5th and 6th symphonies, but the operetta "Fidelio" too. Today, it exhibits a number of portraits and mementoes belonging to the composer.
