Mozart Museum (Figarohaus)
Domgasse 5, A-1010, Wien, Tel: 513 6294, Website: www.wienmuseum.at, U-Bahn: Stephansplatz
The Figarohaus was Mozart’s home in Vienna between 1884 and 1887 and it was here that he wrote "The Marriage of Figaro", hence the name. Unfortunately. Vienna has lost out to Salzburg to claim Mozart as one of its most famous sons and, as a result, the museum has little of the memorabilia associated with the great composer.
