Karlsplatz, A-1010 Wien, Tel: 505 8747, Website: www.wienmuseum.at, U-Bahn: Karlsplatz

Designed by the celebrated Secessionist architecture Otto Wagner, the Pavilions originally served as entrances to the city railway station (Stadtbahn) at Karlsplatz.

However, following the building of a new U-Bahn station, one of the buildings has now been taken over by the Museum of Vienna for exhibition space.
