Having spent the summer of 1803 here, Beethoven worked on - but did not finish - his 3rd symphony "Eroica" (widely acknowledged as being a ground breaking work, and one which brought new boldness and harmony to his music). It’s not surprising that Eroica is also the name given to this house where, inside, you’ll find related pictures and sheet music.
