Describing itself as an ‘animal conservation museum’, this interesting and unusual visitor attraction seeks to inform visitors about rattlesnakes through colourful displays, artifacts and memorabilia, whilst also laying claim to the world’s largest collection of live specimens. In addition, you’ll find a large array of snake-related artwork, posters, ceramics, glassware and jewellery, plus a well-stocked gift shop. To reach the museum, take I-40 west from I-25 and exit onto Rio Grande Blvd. Following signs to the Old Town, the attraction is located along the southeast corner of the main plaza.
