Not much here that's actually printed in English, although the 'Writers' Bookshop' excels at
offering Hungarian translations of US, UK and European authors, plus thousands of interesting
home-grown titles. In-store coffee and an accomplished web presence also gets the
Írók Boltja our thumbs up!

Now we're not saying that Libri is the answer to all your literary needs, but this chain of
bookstores - which are found in all the major malls and downtown areas - is the Hungarian
equivalent of Borders in the US. So, what you get are inviting stores, a great selection of titles,
lots of stuff in English, language books galore (including all those hard to get sets of Hungarian
books) plus, in some cases, in-store coffee and polite, helpful assistants.
