Although not as well-known as the two spa hotels on the Margit Island, the Aquincum's reputation is growing fast. Situated on the Buda riverbank overlooking the Margit island, the hotel boasts extensive spa facilities and a wide range of treatments including balneo, hydrotherapy and electrotherapy.

You don't have to be a fitness guru to enjoy staying here though. The Aquincum's comfortable, relaxing atmosphere makes it a match for other five star hotels down the river.

On site you'll find two restaurants - the Ambrosia and Apicius - offering Hungarian and International cuisine (including vegetarian and diet menus), while other amenities include the Calix bar, boutique shops, barber, a nightclub, sauna and steam room.
